Job Description
Job Title: Head of Metallurgical Testing Laboratory Location: Faridabad Company: Punjab General Industries Pvt Ltd Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior/Leadership Role Reports To: Directors
Role Summary:
We seek a technically skilled and experienced individual to head our metallurgical testing lab. This role involves managing lab operations ensuring quality standards leading the team and supporting both technical innovation and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Lead lab operations and testing activities (mechanical microstructural NDT Destructive etc.)
* Ensure compliance with ASTM ISO BIS NABL standards
* Develop SOPs and maintain quality systems
* Mentor lab staff and ensure equipment maintenance
* Support audits certifications (NABL ISO/IEC 17025) and client communications
* Maintain integrity and honesty in reporting
Qualifications:
* B.E./ in Metallurgy/Materials Science
* 10 15 years experience in testing labs
* Strong technical analytical and communication skills
* Familiar with Lab Information Management Systems quality management systems and international testing standards
