Job Description
Giatec Scientific Inc. (Giatec) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Co-op to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician Co-op you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the field of electro-mechanical systems. This internship is designed to provide you with practical knowledge and exposure to various aspects of system design troubleshooting and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and installation of electro-mechanical systems
- Support the testing and debugging of electronic components
- Document and report findings to senior technicians and engineers
- Collaborate with team members to improve system efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical program at a post-secondary institution
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
