The Shipping Associate Lead will be responsible for the handling and storage of materials in appropriate locations. Associate will also pick/ship the customer orders. Paying close attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

Safe handling and transport of high value oversized manufactured products using mobile equipment.
Product put-up to appropriate inventory locations.
Raw material cycle counts.
Oversee incoming/outgoing WIP goods.
Interaction with multiple organization levels as needed to support warehouse and distribution needs.
Cross functional responsibilities to include receiving/inventory control and/or shipping to support the Warehouse/Logistics needs.

  • Collaboration Develops relationships across multiple business units.
  • Organization/Work Management Excellent ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Communication skills - Must be able to demonstrate professional oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with multiple organizational levels including management.
  • Detail oriented High attention to detail and with error free results is critical.

Qualifications

    1 year Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse cross functional/ multi-department experience desired for maximum flexibility within the materials department.
    Cycle count experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
    Adherence to safety rules and regulations per company policy.
    Should be skilled in MS Office including Excel. Oracle experience desired.
    Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
