POSITION OBJECTIVE
Bethesda requires one (1) Full-Time Contract Program Supervisor to support our Childrens Programing.
Working to promote Bethesdas mission vision and values The Children and Youth Program Supervisor will work with the Program Managers and Director to ensure the smooth functioning of all programs
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate ideas and plan the integration of engaging community activities into service options.
- Develop and integrate community partnerships with service and support options.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of community resources and service options.
- Provide Resource Consultation Services.
- Facilitate community connections program registrations and referrals and share resources.
- Develop resources and program materials.
- Maintain client records and complete documentation as required.
- Assist caregivers completing funding applications and reconciliation forms and program registration documentation.
- Review service options with new referrals.
- Complete intake forms.
- Complete Quality Assurance Measures/Tools.
- Facilitates appropriate internal and community referrals.
- Develop Staff Schedules and update as required.
- Monitor wait lists and schedule clients for service.
- Monitor and confirm program registration.
- Develop and facilitate training opportunities for Children and Youth Services staff and Community Partners.
- Facilitate Caregiver and Children and Youth Workshops.
- Send out client satisfaction surveys.
- Prepare quarterly client satisfaction survey reports.
- Review and approve Level 1 incident reports.
- Develop a plan to achieve program service targets .
- Complete monthly statistics and program update reports.
- Complete Nucleus Labs audits.
- Coordinate the implementation of Respite Flex Funds.
- Provide coaching and support to Caregivers Community Partners Children and Youth Services Team Members and Students.
- Collaborate with Community Partners and Interdisciplinary Team Members.
- Actively participate in administrative team meetings.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions creative ideas and recommendations for strengthening Children and Youth Services.
- Comply with Bethesda policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
- Responsible for reporting all health and safety concerns immediately following the Internal Responsibility System.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Contract wage is based on 2080 hours worked in a year
- Degree/diploma in Psychology or Social Services.
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
- Experience managing training or education programs.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Valid Drivers License.
- First Aid Training and CPR Certification.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certified.
- Professional Communication Skills: professionally represents the company through strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Teamwork: excels at working with others and communicating with a team to provide the most effective support to clients.
- Problem-Solving: able to navigate challenges and barriers always looks for potential pitfalls and risks to help mitigate problems ahead of time and knows when to ask for help.
