Job Description

FTC located in North Hollywood CA has an immediate opening for an EXPERIENCED Hot Header:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced to set up and operate AIDA 220 Ton and AMADA 80 Ton manual punch press and electric induction heaters to single-step form heads on precision products.

Experienced at forming 1st blow/upsets and 2nd blow operations.

Perform heater and photo-sensor adjustments quenching sand cooling and heat treatment of materials graphite coating of materials.

Use common hand tools including box and end wrenches micrometer scale bench grinder optical comparators indicator plug depth and go no-go gages cutting tools and drawings.

Knowledge of shop math and familiar with shop practices and terminology.

Demonstrate consistent awareness of machine quality output by checking parts on a frequent basis.
