About the Role

Essity North America is looking for a Product Developer to the Incontinence Pants team within R&D Personal Care to meet the consumer and customer and business needs ensuring manufacturability cost efficiency and product superiority. We as a team translates consumer needs to product functions and further into technical solutions. We offer you a chance to work in a global company to develop both your technical and leadership skills as part of a global creative curious and supporting team.

You will:

• Lead product development initiatives from concept to launch ensuring solutions meet consumer business and manufacturability requirements.
• Validate and verify product solutions support consumer testing and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Drive R&D and innovation projects including technical substantiation for product claims and readiness for future innovations.
• Plan and execute test runs at factories and pilot machines collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Work cross-functionally with global teams in product process material development and regulatory functions.
• Support projects across North America Mexico South America and Europe with travel up to 20%.

Key Competencies and Personal Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Design Chemistry or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in product development or lifecycle management; project management experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical data-driven and problem-solving skills; experience with modeling/simulation tools is valuable.
• Effective communicator with strong self-leadership adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
• Passionate about product development with a holistic view of consumer business and technical needs.
• Comfortable working across cultures and building relationships at all organizational levels.
