The Role:
Proofpoint is seeking a Field Marketing Intern to join the North America Field Marketing team. The team is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies that drive pipeline growth and strengthen customer loyalty.
Role Overview:
As a Field Marketing Intern you will support the Field Marketing team that executes multi-faceted programs including in-person and virtual events webinars executive conferences and roundtables industry events networking events direct mail and appointment-setting campaigns. The team is responsible for regional marketing strategies that drive demand generate a significant sales pipeline for the business and foster customer loyalty. They play an active role in supporting the area sales team ensuring they benefit from global marketing programs while also executing targeted regional initiatives. You will serve as the teams Marketo liaison building and automating event campaigns and collaborating closely with vendors to design optimize and execute them effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Aspiring marketing professional with a passion for B2B and field marketing.
- Results-driven who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills
- Detail-oriented able to meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining high standards of execution
- Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple priorities independently
- Strong communication skills
- Must like to work in a collaborative environment with team goals
- Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign) is a plus.
Candidate Profile:
You have the ability and interest in working remote part-time (a maximum of 30 hours/week). You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA preferably 3.0 or higher. This internship is scheduled to start immediately.
