Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech Vishay Dale Electronics East Windsor CT is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment/Maintenance Technician Lead 1st Shift. Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.
Job Summary:
Performs electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process and facilitates the repair of that equipment to support the demands of production. Performs Periodic Maintenance on all assigned equipment. Work assignments are made by automated methods assignments are made via cell phone text messaging. Completion of work assignments are computer keyboard entries into the maintenance program by the maintenance technician. Equipment priorities must be determined by production demands and interface with production supervisors. Directions come from the Lead person but most daily maintenance activities are self-governed and self-driven.

Vishay Dale Electronics East Windsor CT is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.There are around 40 employees currently working in East Windsor.
What you will be doing:
- Schedules and tracks progress of all equipment related repair and preventative maintenance. Generates and organizes related reports and records in compliance with ISO requirements as well as company standards/procedures.
- Performs complex equipment repairs diagnosis and preventative maintenance as required by headcount and workload.
- Schedules and oversees the work of junior Maintenance Techs ensuring their quality of workmanship and the status of their ongoing work assignments.
- Determines the need for and maintains the inventory levels of parts and supplies required for continuous efficient operation of equipment and Maintenance Dept.
What you will bring along:
- 2-year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or documented 5 years of equivalent experience
- Display specific training in Electrical and/or Electronic Theory.
- Display specific training in Mechanical System maintenance.
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform the assigned tasks within 12 weeks of hiring.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawing electrical diagrams and all source materials relating to the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Knowledge of vacuum pumping system repair electrical motor repair and complex sequencing systems of valves solenoids and electronics.
- Experience with scheduling and oversight of Maintenance Department activitiies.
