Location: Port Macquarie or Taree NSW
The position
As the Associate Lecturer or Lecturer in Medical Radiation Science you will primarily be responsible for the delivery of teaching assessment and support of Medical Radiation Science (MRS) student placements in Port Macquarie and Taree and surrounding districts on the Mid-North Coast of NSW particularly but not exclusively in Radiation will liaise with placement supervisors and students in the region coordinate timetabling for MRS students provide sessional face-to-face teaching and collaborate with other academic and professional staff to develop and implement interprofessional education and community engagement. Additionally you will teach across other disciplines represented within the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health (UONDRH) as required.
About you
You will be an experienced Medical Radiation Therapist with an interest or experience in student teaching and learning. You will also be passionate about redressing rural health inequity.
To be successful in this role you will:
