Role accountabilities:
- Collaborate with various disciplines to develop project design solutions.
- Negotiating infrastructure solutions with significant state and local authorities
- Project management electrical NBN and lighting system design.
- Demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record with Urban Redevelopment within Queensland. Especially residential sub-divisions.
- Experience working with Energy Queensland for the preparation of engineering drawings reports calculations and schedules.
- Experience with local council procedures and applications.
- Experience with road lighting and associated software to AS/NZS 1158 standards.
- Knowledge of on site data collection / survey procedures.
- Proficiency in computer aided design software.
- Proficiency with electrical engineering software.
- Experience with project management.
What you will gain knowledge in:
- Electrical system design
- High voltage network planning
- Low voltage (AS3000) consumers mains design
- Inter-disciplinary package coordination
- Project management including financial management and contractual negotiations
- Construction estimating and coordination of tenders
- Site experience and data collection
- Construction crew support
Highly Regarded Skills / Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering. CPEng & RPEQ highly regarded.
- Experience with relevant electrical &/or project software.
- Experience with computer programming
- Familiarity with Energy Queensland and TMR design standards and procedures accreditation with EQL highly regarded.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Self-starter attitude and business acumen
- Project management
