Job Description
- Oversee Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger payroll and month-end close processes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Policy and Compliance Management: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations including GAAP and IFRS.
- Audit Management: Lead the coordination of external audits ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting data to identify trends discrepancies and areas for improvement implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Certification and Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements certifications and regulatory standards particularly in relation to local GAAP and IFRS.
- Education: Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field. CPA CMA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) is an advantage.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local GAAP IFRS and other relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
