Position Overview
Were hiring a hands-on emotionally intelligent Finishing Supervisor to lead one of our fastest-growing departments. This role oversees a team responsible for custom color finishes rework and quality touch-ups across a dynamic production floor. Youll manage workflow maintain high-quality standards and build a strong accountable team culture. Must bring strong communication skills emotional intelligence and the ability to lead under pressurefinishing experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and support a team of finishing technicians and rework specialists
- Oversee custom color refinishing and touch-up work on the production floor
- Maintain quality and safety standards across all finishing activities
- Proactively address workflow issues and minimize production delays
- Collaborate with Planning and QC to align rework/custom orders with overall production
- Ensure clear communication daily direction and accountability across shifts
- Drive a respectful high-performing and solutions-focused team culture
- Support cross-training and onboarding for new and existing employees
- Suggest and implement process improvements and productivity enhancements
Qualifications
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting
- Finishing or wood product experience is a plus but not required
- Strong emotional intelligence communication and people leadership
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Able to lead a department in a high-pressure environment with shifting needs
- Highly organized reliable and results-driven
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
