This team handles custom color work refinishing and rework with precision and care.

Position Overview

Were hiring a hands-on emotionally intelligent Finishing Supervisor to lead one of our fastest-growing departments. This role oversees a team responsible for custom color finishes rework and quality touch-ups across a dynamic production floor. Youll manage workflow maintain high-quality standards and build a strong accountable team culture. Must bring strong communication skills emotional intelligence and the ability to lead under pressurefinishing experience is a plus but not required.

Youre a natural leader who knows how to push without breaking people. You can give direction clearly build respect on the floor and step in where needed. Youre cool under pressure thoughtful with people and thrive in fast-paced production environments. Youre not afraid to get your hands dirty and love bringing order and momentum to a busy department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coach and support a team of finishing technicians and rework specialists
  • Oversee custom color refinishing and touch-up work on the production floor
  • Maintain quality and safety standards across all finishing activities
  • Proactively address workflow issues and minimize production delays
  • Collaborate with Planning and QC to align rework/custom orders with overall production
  • Ensure clear communication daily direction and accountability across shifts
  • Drive a respectful high-performing and solutions-focused team culture
  • Support cross-training and onboarding for new and existing employees
  • Suggest and implement process improvements and productivity enhancements

Qualifications

  • 2 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting
  • Finishing or wood product experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong emotional intelligence communication and people leadership
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Able to lead a department in a high-pressure environment with shifting needs
  • Highly organized reliable and results-driven
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus

  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting
  • Strong people management emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and lead under pressure
