Job Description
GTS Freight Group (including GTS Freight Management G1 Logistics and G1 Refrigerated Logistics) is a national leader in linehaul transport solutions. With a fleet of 100 prime movers over 500 trailers and 35000 sqm of warehousing were known for our focus on service safety and compliance.
We are seeking a full-time Trailer Maintenance and Tyre Fitter to join our maintenance team supporting the safe and efficient operation of our national fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect trailers and identify defects or worn components
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs under supervision
- Replace or repair parts including curtains gates toolboxes lighting tyres and more
- Conduct tyre inspections and changes
- Maintain workshop equipment and cleanliness
- Complete service reports timesheets and repair documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards
What Were Looking For:
- Mechanical and tyre fitting experience (trailers preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills
No formal qualifications required but experience in a similar role is desirable.
