Overview:

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Django Web Application Developer to modernize and maintain federal health-focused web applications. This role requires full-stack Python/Django development expertise with strong UI/UX cloud migration and workflow automation skills supporting mission-critical digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain full-stack Django/Python applications for health data outreach and classification programs.
• Migrate legacy systems (e.g. OERS DigitalQA) to secure scalable cloud-based platforms.
• Modernize UI/UX using Bootstrap USWDS and ensure Section 508 compliance for public-facing applications.
• Support data analytics and reporting using APIs Python IBM Cognos Tableau and Google Analytics.
• Automate workflows using Django FSM and integrate with internal/external content systems.
• Maintain and optimize multimedia content delivery including replacing legacy media players with VideoJS.
• Develop APIs and support DevOps pipelines to enhance application interoperability and deployment efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django JavaScript HTML/CSS PostgreSQL and REST APIs.

Proficiency with modern UI frameworks (Bootstrap USWDS) and tools (Sketch InVision CodeKit).

Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau IBM Cognos) and Google Analytics.

Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS EC2 Lambdas) DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to document and present technical workflows clearly.
