Job Description
Role: ETL Test Engineer
Experience: 5 Years
Location: Noida/Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Validate data extraction transformation logic and loading into data lakes warehouses or downstream AI models.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement test automation across multiple platforms and environments.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Contribute to the creation of reusable test automation frameworks and improve existing ones.
- Conduct non-functional testing such as performance recovery and failover scenarios.
- Identify track and resolve defects using issue management tools (e.g. Jira GitLab).
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in ETL Data Pipeline or Big Data testing.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes data ingestion and transformation validation.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL Redshift Snowflake etc.).
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark Hive or Hadoop.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium Mocha JUnit etc.).
- Experience integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
- Understanding of data governance privacy and metadata testing principles.
