Job Description - Apog e Community Manager
We need your talent your ideas and your commitment to fuel the companys growth and help build an exceptional region.
The Community Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing operations within the residential community. This position involves managing daily interactions with residents overseeing services and communications and ensuring the quality and consistency of information exchanged.
Requirements
Brigil is currently looking for a Community Manager in the Ottawa area under the supervision of the Apog e Regional Director.
The main responsibility of the Community Manager is to see to the complete management of the building under his/her responsibility in particular:
Responsibility for creating maintaining and promoting a pleasant living environment that meets the high standards of the Apog e division;
Contribute to the leasing of units and the renewal of tenants leases;
Responsibility for managing the coordinators/rental agents (assistant) as well as any other employees or subcontractors in the project (Security; housekeeping etc.);
Financial management and control of expenses;
The candidate must live in a unit in the project under his/her management (reduced rent);
Full-time in-person (5 days/week) work schedule including weekends according to operational needs.
Responsibilities
Ensure exceptional customer service on a daily basis;
Manage move-ins and move-outs and prepare units for new tenants;
Receive and act on emergency calls (available evenings and weekends);
Organize events and activities for tenants;
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations established by management;
Responsible for the bidding process; cost analysis and the awarding of purchase orders;
Quality control of services offered by suppliers;
Involved in the follow-up of accounts receivable;
Perform any other related tasks requested by management.

Bilingual (English/French) spoken and written;
Autonomous and responsible;
Aptitude for outstanding customer service;
Dynamic and sociable;
Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions;
Discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in property or residential management;
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Proactive and effective problem-solving skills;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment;
Knowledge of property management tools or YARDI CRM (an asset);
The candidate must live in a unit in the project under his/her management (reduced rent).
