Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Production Operator I will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operator I continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. 12 hour shifts 4-3 / 3-4
On 4 Sunday - Wednesday off 3 Thursday -Saturday
On 3 Sunday - Tuesday off 4 Wednesday - Saturday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate production information to the Line Leader and fellow Operators
Performs all duties in a safe reliable and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader
Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials
Identify and record acceptable and defective products
Assembles inspects and cleans solar modules per work instructions
Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery
Perform continuity testing using a meter
Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installations
Perform basic quality auditing testing and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
Clean machines tools and equipment
Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to read and understand technical documents manuals and instructions
Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment which may involve exposure to various manufacturing conditions.
Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Been able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Been able to communicate verbally efficiently.
Sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists hands and/or fingers.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive readinNG.
