Job Summary:

The Quality Supervisor supports the Quality Manager by providing direct supervision of daily tasks and accomplishments to Quality Inspectors. The ideal candidate will be an active learner combined with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to lead work accomplishment. This position will interface with all departments directing Inspector/Technician labor for task completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct audit activities commensurate to production schedules.
  • Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.
  • Develop monthly reports showing inspection and audit performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following set standards.
  • Maintain working production components knowledge and associate next tier application.
  • Conduct meetings regularly with inspection and audit team to help consistency in teamwork.
  • Involve in team driven actions to help improvements.
  • Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and documents.
  • Develop and maintain QA programs complimentary to enterprise quality system corporate objectives and policies.
  • Guide organization personnel through new practices and certifications.
  • Supervise and review corrective action solutions and preventive action activities.
  • Interpret quality control system to people within organization.
  • Develop new methods to resolve problems occurring during QA activities.

Required Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • A bachelors degree or commensurate supervisory experience is required for this position.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing effective and efficient solutions to complex and diverse business problems
  • Strong analytical mathematical and conceptual skills
  • Strong computer skills (Must be fluent in Microsoft Office products)
  • Ability to guide a team to collectively while creating proactive solutions
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be extremely results oriented
