Job Description
Are you creative outgoing and love working with people Join our team Do It Yourself Crafts! Were a fun vibrant paint-your-own pottery shop looking to hire1-3 part-time team membersto help us bring joy to our customers.
About the Role:
Hours:Mainly weekends during the school year with increased availability during the summer months.
We are open Monday-Thursday 10-6 Friday and Saturday 10-9 and Sunday 12-6.
Location:1909 Oxmoor Road in Homewood. Applicants must have reliable transportation to get to work.
Applicant should be able to work a 4-8 hour shift (which is mostly standing) and be comfortable lifting boxes of pottery.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting customers with their pottery projects.
Explaining techniques tools and materials.
Hosting and helping withchildrens birthday partiesto ensure everyone has a great time.
Providing excellent customer service in a creative and friendly environment. This requires you to be up and helping! You should expect to spend most of your time standing and walking around.
Helping with studio upkeep including cleaning and organizing.

Comfortable working with groups of children and ensuring they have a fun engaging experience.
No prior experience in pottery is required well teach you everything you need to know!
