Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Intermediate Accountant on a full-time temporary basis for up to 6 months.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
Our Corporate Accounting Team is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to support financial activities across Food Produce and Home & Building Solutions (HABS). This role is ideal for someone with a curious mind and strong analytical skills who thrives on working with data digging into spreadsheets and uncovering insights. What youll do:
- Prepare and analyze gross margin calculations.
- Reconcile general ledger and receivable accounts.
- Control outstanding matching reports and troubleshoot related problems.
- Audit and prepare for processing various sales purchase and expense documents.
- Other duties as required.
Who youll work with:
The Team:You will work as part of a team of four comprised of two other Intermediate Accountants and one Senior Accountant all reporting to the Accounting Supervisor Food & HABS. This team values collaboration and makes a conscious effort to understand and support each others work.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have four progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited postsecondary institution and at least 1 year of related accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
