Join Our Team as aBartenderat The Montford Rooftop Bar located atop the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown!
At Parks Hospitality Group we are looking for a friendly and motivated Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role you will provide exceptional beverage service preparing and serving drinks while maintaining a clean organized bar and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
What Youll Do:
- Greet guests warmly take orders and provide menu recommendations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including specialty cocktails following standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with state alcohol regulations including verifying guest identification.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area including clearing tables and cleaning equipment.
- Monitor and replenish bar inventory notifying management of supply needs.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions per hotel procedures.
- Collaborate with barbacks and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
What Youll Need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of previous bartending experience.
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails and mixed drinks.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drink preparation and order taking.
- Good math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Bartending certification and TIPS training is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
