Job Description
Hayride Attendants are stationed at our hayride loading and unloading zones in three key areas such as the Farmyard Country Corner and the Pumpkin Patch. Your responsibilities include managing guest lines at each loading/unloading zone maximizing safety and operational efficiency and providing important information to guests at the beginning of the ride. If you enjoy engaging with people ensuring their safety and working in an outdoor setting this role is perfect for you!
Roles & Responsibilities
As a part of the Hayride Attendant role you will:
- Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the Hayride loading and unloading zones
- Demonstrate exceptional listening skills to understand and address visitor needs.
- Share important information regarding the Hayride stops and Farmyard activities with guests
- Deliver a safety talk to all Hayride guests
- Communicate with Hayride Drivers any issues or information needed during their round trip
- Must be 14 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time on concrete gravel and/ or grass
- Able to handle working in warm and cold conditions
- Ability to speak clearly and loudly over the engine of a tractor
