Job Title: Indirect Loan Funder
Location: Poughkeepsie NY (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $20$22/hour based on experience
Are you highly organized detail-focused and ready to be part of a fast-paced team TEG Federal Credit Union is expanding and were hiring an Indirect Loan Funder to help us deliver top-notch service to our dealer partners and credit union members. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate funding of indirect vehicle loans.
What Youll Do:
- -Review Loan Applications: Examine indirect vehicle loan files to ensure completeness and compliance with credit union policies.
- -Clear Approval Conditions: Ensure all documentation and conditions (such as proof of income) are verified before disbursing funds.
- -Fund and Disburse Loans: Set up accounts in the system disburse loans accurately and track funding metrics monthly.
- -Build Dealer Relationships: Communicate directly with auto dealers to request missing information and keep loan files moving efficiently.
- -Ensure Compliance: Review newly opened accounts and correct discrepancies before submitting to the Compliance team.
- -Provide Support Across the Team: Back up lien processing and assist with related lending tasks as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- -Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking lending or automotive finance.
- -Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- -Tech Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word and comfortable working in Windows-based systems.
- -Strong Communicator: Youre professional courteous and confident working with internal teams and external partners.
- -Detail-Oriented & Self-Motivated: You take pride in precision meet deadlines and dont let anything fall through the cracks.

- -Indirect loan files are funded accurately and on time.
- -All compliance conditions are met and tracked effectively.
- -Communication with dealers and teammates is proactive and professional.
- -You contribute to a smooth organized and well-documented lending process.
Compensation:
- Starting at $20$22 per hour depending on experience
