TPF Recruitment are currently working with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants located in Portchester Portsmouth currently seeking a talented Accounts Semi-Senior to join their dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities:
Within this position the successful Semi Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. They will also be offered ACCA/ACA study support.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Preparation of corporate tax computations.
- General bookkeeping using cloud software- Xero QuickBooks Sage etc.
- Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work.
- Assisting more junior members of staff.
Requirements
- AAT qualified and/or studying towards an ACCA or ACA qualification.
- You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
- Experience of cloud software such as Iris Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
- Are driven inquisitive and passionate about your work with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Exhibit organization enthusiasm and self-motivation.

- Salary circa 28000 - 37000 depending on experience and qualification status.

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Wokingham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
