Were looking for a Creative Director to join the Creative and Marketing team at Snap Inc. As a member of the Creative and Marketing team you will be instrumental in building the Snapchat brand and crafting best-in-class marketing materials for a wide range of audiences that help celebrate our latest products features and company developments.
The Creative and Marketing team is a diverse crew of artists makers writers and designers. But first and foremost we are creatives. We prioritize craft drive and above all else ideas. We represent one of the worlds most innovative companies and serve an engaged global community so we aim to inspire them with every project no matter the size. Work in partnership with strategy marketing and the brand makers studio (production program management media) to establish the creative strategy for brand and product storytelling that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences enhancing brand perception and user engagement while ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
What Youll Do:
Spearhead the creation of our brands voice and guide a team of creatives in its implementation across the company encompassing B2B consumer and AR audiences.
Lead a team of creatives mentoring them to think strategically and develop creative concepts that align with brand and business objectives.
Ensure teams are proactively pitching new ideas that can deliver on business objectives.
Create and deliver a combined strategy with key cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Set stretch goals and objectives pushing individuals and teams to perform at higher levels by utilizing performance metrics to drive more impact.
You and your team will craft strong creative solutions that efficiently and accurately represent new products features and company developments to the world.
As the owner of your craft drive both individually and through your team consumer and business copywriter projects.
Drive and ensure the use of Snapchat creative tools to create and modify existing and new content for cross-channel usage.
Lead and / or participate in brainstorms for content channel strategy and media planning.
Own and execute in collaboration with others the workload pipeline planning logistics and budget conversations.
Negotiates skillfully and creates minimal noise when working toward an agreed-upon solution with stakeholders and across the organization.
Creates pipelines of talent for the future from both internal and external talent pools.
Finds common ground and drives to consensus ensuring that all feel heard and included across the team and organization.
Owning and articulating messages in a way that is broadly understandable and ensures your team is in line with company objectives.
Build and develop a high performing team of copywriters and Snap team members.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of social platforms and products.
Knowledge of the culture that impacts marketing across key channels.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving business environment and be ready and up for the speed of our business. This includes the ability to quickly adapt to changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience.
15 years experience as a hands-on creative with demonstrable experience working as a copywriter (in-house freelance or agency).
3 years experience in a creative leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful campaigns and innovative high-impact projects.
Creative agency or brand marketing experience.
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite.
History of being a personal Snapchat user.
Stays up-to-date on the competitive landscape and new technologies to keep Snaps work innovative and relevant.

Compensation
In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $303000-$455000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
