Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $101051 - $106715 per annum 13.5% superannuation

About the role
The role contributes to the City by connecting and empowering Hobart-based businesses and entrepreneurs through the coordination development and promotion of localised marketing campaigns business support and funding opportunities.
- Support Businesses: Respond to the needs of businesses and entrepreneurs in the Hobart Local Government Area (LGA) to enhance the citys reputation as an investment and visitor destination.
- Engage Stakeholders: Develop and implement strategies with key stakeholders to assist in the citys economic development and collaborate on Greater Hobart projects.
- Market Analysis:Conduct research to identify market trends and promotional opportunities that benefit local businesses and the citys economy.
- Project Planning:Contribute to cross-disciplinary projects that align with the citys economic development policies and objectives.
- Collaborate: Work with various departments and other local government entities to identify funding and commercial opportunities.
- Representation:Represent the citys interests at forums events and workshops as required.

- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications and/or demonstrated three or more years experience in a related field.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated and significant Experience in engaging with stakeholders and using promotional practices to identify and address issues gaps and opportunities.
- Experience in delivering marketing campaigns with a strong grasp of marketing and promotional techniques
