QUALIFICATIONS:
- Humanresources-related degree and experience preferred;
- Proficientwith technology including Microsoft Office and online resources;
- Knowledge of personnel-related laws and practices preferred;
- Expertise in general clerical organizational and interpersonal skills including customer service;
- Demonstrateleadership self-direction and self-motivation abilities;
- Suchalternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may findappropriate and acceptable for the success of the position.
REPORTS TO:Director of HR & Communications
JOB GOAL: To assist the Director of HR & Communications with the duties required to recruit and retain qualitycertified and support staff team members.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates with applicants about career opportunities and employment offers.
- Assists with the implementation and maintenance of personnel programs/systems including the continued transition from paper to online record keeping and employment transactions.
- Assists with employee documentation with an emphasis on certified employees.
- Assisists with compliance and reporting requirements for the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
- Assists school employees and applicants with questions and documentation regarding personnel policies benefits and procedures.
- Assists with the review and revision of district job descriptions.
- Assists with the development and management of district personnel policies and procedure.
- Assist with the Administrative Services Center front desk/switchboard.
- Provides quality customer services to those whoin need ofassistance from the HR Department.
- Ensures the confidentiality of employee student and district information.
- Performs other duties and manages special projects as assigned by the Executive Director of HR & Communications.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month contract. Salary vacation and work calendar to be established by the Board at the recommendation of the Director of HR & Communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Walk bend kneel reach stand talk and hear
- Sit for long periods of time at a desk to perform job functions
- Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Read write and interpret written documents
- Manipulate handle feel and control items or equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes both a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues and occasional local travel including exposure to typical heat cold and inclement weather conditions.
EVALUATION:The Director of HR & Communications will be responsible for completing the evaluation pursuant to board policy and procedures.
SALARY RANGE: $17/hour -$19/hour depending on experience.
