We are looking for a detail-oriented Technology Procurement Officer to join our team. In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to create and implement portfolio-wide contract and supplier management strategies.
About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to shape forecast planning contribute to insightful contract reviews and support effective vendor selection and negotiation. Youll play a key part in ensuring our procurement processes are efficient strategic and aligned with our broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing an enterprise long-term sourcing framework and implement sourcing and procurement policies aligned with industry best practices.
Influence business owners to ensure the necessary commercial practices are agreed before progressing to sourcing.
Work with business owners to understand their ongoing requirements future demand and planned long-term strategy.
Supporting new initiatives and business cases by performing upfront market research and due diligence on new vendors.
Maintaining ongoing governance of existing vendors and strategically planning renewals.
Creation and maintenance of supplier profiles and the required commercial/governance documentation.
Act as the commercial procurement SME for projects and tenders.
What Sets You Apart
Experience in procurement and commercial negotiations
Strong understanding of contracts and legal terminology
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
