Job Description

Every event starts with and ends with communication- the who what where when and why is what drives excitement and interest. We are looking for a Sr. Event Communications Manager who can take the overall messages for an event and turn them into an ongoing drumbeat of communications continuing across the lifecycle of an event (pre during post) for both internal and external audiences. This individual must be able to manage/leverage both owned and partner channels for the right channel mix be able to successfully manage complex fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges for high visibility events and have a passion for coming up with creative ways to engage audiences on a global scale.

Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication plans to include the channel strategy and associated workbacks for a suite of global events for both internal and external audiences.
2. Draft copy for proactive and reactive talking points event registration site and app and promotional emails that help drive registration and attendance to events
3. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and make data-driven improvements.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate event communication plans with overall marketing campaigns and ensure messaging consistency across owned and partner channels.
5. Thinks outside the box to come up with fun innovative and engaging tactics that succinctly describe the intent of an event and get attendees excited to attend.



About the team
The Transportation Partner Experience team (TPX) builds innovative and engaging community-focused products for internal and external Amazon partners including the Delivery Service Partner community. Small business are critical to many aspects of Amazons ecosystem and TPX helps these partners be successful by building communities that connect inform and inspire the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and business owners who work in harmony with us to improve delivery flexibility speed and reliability for our customers.

- 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7 years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
