About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager to join our Austin office. This is a senior-level technical leadership role where you ll manage the design and delivery of public infrastructure projects across Central Texas. The role blends engineering expertise project management and client engagement and plays a key part in our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning analysis and design of water and wastewater systems including pipelines force mains pump stations lift stations and treatment plants
Oversee the preparation of technical documents: plans specifications permits schedules and cost estimates
Manage scope schedule budget and QA/QC for multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborate with project teams clients CAD designers and sub-consultants
Maintain strong relationships with municipal clients especially in Austin and San Antonio
Mentor junior engineers and ensure high standards in technical work
Participate in technical proposals and business development activities
Support coordination with financial and marketing teams as needed
What We re Looking For:
Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
12 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership or PM capacity
Strong technical knowledge of water/wastewater design permitting and construction in Texas
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams successfully
U.S. citizen or green card holder
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with City of Austin and San Antonio public agencies
Advanced degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Previous experience in proposal development and client-facing roles
Hands-on experience with permitting and regulatory compliance in Texas
