Job Description

Join Ubisofts Global Media team to shape the media strategy for some of the worlds most iconic gaming brands.

At Ubisofts WW Publishing headquarters you will oversee a part of the Ubisoft brand portfolio. Your main mission will be the definition of the media strategy and the lead of digital media campaigns in EMEA (Europe Australia MENA) and North America (United States and Canada) in coordination with the brand marketing teams and our media partners (internal & external).

You will join the Planning team within the Global Media Publishing department composed of two other teams: Portfolio & Media transformation in charge of media strategy for cross brands topics (e.g. Ubisoft Store) as well as Channel Management & Data Operations in charge of execution of media campaigns and ad tech topics.

More specifically your missions will be the following:

Be responsible for audiences and media strategy on a pool of Ubisofts flagship brands

  • Definition of the yearly media strategy on a portfolio of games in direct collaboration with our media partners (ex: Google X Meta Snapchat TikTok Twitch Xbox PlayStation) and the Brand Marketing teams. The media strategy includes: media objectives budget breakdown by moment of communication distribution by channel orchestration of messages as well as local investment recommendations (mostly offline TV cinema OOH etc.).
  • Collaborate with our media partners Audience & Data teams and Brand Marketing teams to define audience segmentation and their activation strategy
  • Closer to moments of communication in collaboration with the Channel Managers team define detailed digital media plans (flighting choice of assets and detailed placements by channel etc.) including a reporting and KPIs framework.
  • Analysis of campaign performance for the sake of always improving our campaign plans.
  • Presentation of strategies and results to Brand Marketing teams and Management to get their support and collaboration.

Lead digital media campaigns from plans to launch

  • Brief and work in collaboration with our trading desk and our internal operational teams on the implementation of cross-channels online campaigns (programmatic Facebook Youtube Twitch Snapchat Twitter etc.)
  • Work closely with marketing teams to obtain the most relevant creative assets & formats for our campaign objectives in a timely manner.
  • Ensure and share very regular monitoring of the results of ongoing campaigns to optimize our media KPIs in partnership with the Channel Management & Data Operations teams.
  • Ensure the budget follow-up of the campaigns

Work closely with European and US local media planning teams

  • Be in direct contact with those teams to ensure smooth communication of media information (eg brief them on activations give visibility on digital plans).
  • Consolidate the media plans and ensure the consistency of the media mix between central digital media investment and local media activations throughout the zones.

Contribute to strengthen the expertise and innovation of the Planning team

  • Adopt and contribute to the teams processes by proactively sharing ideas and contributing to the improvement of our planning and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with other Media Planners in the team Ubisoft expertise teams (eg Analytics Data Console Expert Content Creator) and our external partners to enrich media strategies and ways of working
  • Be informed of market news and developments as well as define media tests (new formats new channels new targeting etc.) to be constantly in a test & learn process
  • Listen to local media trends to improve campaign performance

Qualifications :

  • You have a confirmed experience in a similar position with an international dimension in the online media buying sector or within an advertiser.
  • You can pilot several projects in parallel and be proactive. You can work collaboratively and cross-functionally within an international organization. You have good communication and presentation skills
  • You are detail-oriented and comfortable working with data and Excel.
  • You have a good knowledge of online marketing mechanisms and web advertising practices. You have experience in carrying out large campaigns via multiple channels (Google DV360 Google Ad Facebook Business Manager Twitter SnapChat Tiktok etc.).
  • An interest in video games and Entertainment universe will be a plus to produce value-added analyzes and recommendations.
  • You speak English fluently.
  • Finally you are curious and follow new trends in digital marketing CRM and social media.
