Associate Principal Structural Engineering
Location: Los Angeles CA (Relocation Support Available)
Compensation: $138320 - $144560
Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Licensure Required: Structural Engineer (SE)

HireNow Staffing is recruiting a seasoned Associate Principal for a senior-level leadership role with a premier structural engineering team in Los Angeles CA. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of high-impact building design projects across diverse sectors while playing a key role in client strategy team mentorship and long-term growth.
What Youll Do
-
Spearhead large-scale structural projects from concept through delivery

Lead and mentor engineers BIM designers and project staff with clarity and purpose

Deliver technical oversight on complex structures particularly in Type I construction (steel and concrete)

Actively build and sustain client relationships; represent the firm in business development efforts

Oversee seismic evaluation and retrofit initiatives including ASCE 41 standards
-
Collaborate with architects contractors and other consultants to ensure integrated cost-effective solutions

Provide technical and strategic input on proposals RFQs and presentations
-
Contribute to firm leadership and help develop future principals and technical leads
Who You Are
12 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
Masters degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university
SE License (required)
Deep knowledge of seismic design retrofit strategy and advanced materials
Proven success managing complex multi-sector projects
Familiar with HCAI/OSHPD and DSA guidelines (preferred)
Known for leading teams mentoring engineers and driving innovation
Experienced in client development with a strong professional network
Bonus Points For
