LOCATION: Nashville TN
FACILITY: 400 bed
SALARY: $125K - $157K RELO SIGNON(case-by-case) BONUS
DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Emergency Services ensures high quality patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) and department(s) in addition to forecasting planning and budget monitoring.
53 ER Beds Volume: 150-190 Patients A Day # of FTEs: 115

DESCRIPTION:

- Directs nursing practice and unit operations. Develop policies procedures and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed met and evaluated.
- Develops care coordination policies and procedures to promote improved quality safety and efficiency in care.
- Participates in the annual budget process including input into department revenue and expense forecasts staffing and supply and equipment needs.
- Ensures effective labor management including position control scheduling excellence productivity management
- Manages operating expenses including the utilization of supplies and equipment.
- Identifies cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Masters Degree preferred
- 3 years applicable experience required
- Previous leadership (Director Level) experience required
- Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience required
