DIVISION V.P OF NURSING INFORMATICS-Masters 5YRS EXP REQ LOCATION: Fort Worth TX FACILITY- Multi-hospital system REPORTS TO: Division VP of Patient operations and Emergency Services SALARY: $133K - $200K RELO DESCRIPTION: Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics provides divisional nursing leadership support by utilizing information and technology to support nursing and clinical performance. PRIMARY REPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for the design and implementation of workflow related to clinical information technology systems
In conjunction with key IT and Business leaders you will develop implementation support strategies.
You will engage with individual facilities to identify unique clinical/operational needs and assist with the development of action plans that are consistent with the mission of the organization.
You will provide regular analytics insights and reports at the Division and facility level
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of tools systems and evidence-based practices utilized to support nursing informatics.
Expert proficiency in MediTech.
Expert proficiency with technology including call systems iPhones and other healthcare technology.
Knowledge in the use development and deployment of electronic health records.
The ability to use intermediate/advanced features of spreadsheet software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires at least 5 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE Leadership Clinical Informatics with Meditech experience.
Leadership experience managing multiple projects at one time and a large group of people
Texas RN license.
National certification required within 6 months of hire with preference in nursing informatics.
Masters degree in Health Informatics Business Administration or Nursing required
