Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: Variable Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Clinical Judgment:
- Conduct accurate and thorough assessments based on established standards.
- Identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement evaluate and adjust nursing care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Clinical Inquiry:
- Continuously evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices.
- Support evidence-based practice through clinical research and continuous learning.
- Actively participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
Caring Practices:
- Provide a safe supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Recognize and address emotional and physical pain to support healing and patient comfort.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) Program
- Major: Nursing
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN)-active and unencumbered license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-current or obtained within 30 days of hire
