Job Title: OT Staff

Thane Maharashtra India (On-Site)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre.
- Ensure sterile conditions are maintained before during and after surgical procedures.
- Support surgeons and surgical teams during operations.
- Monitor patients vital signs and report any changes.
- Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures.
- Assist with the setup of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure all medical supplies are stocked and up to date.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize infection risks.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and trainees.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Completed certification in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Basic life support certification (BLS) preferred.
