Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members.
- Develop and follow budget for residential programs including food safety and maintenance.
- Coordinate menu with dietician and have secure written dietician approval on a yearly basis.
- Develop and implement quality management requirements for residential program by determining criteria to be monitored collection of data and compiling information for monthly quarterly and yearly reports.
- Oversee orientation of new students with patient rights review of handbook and signing all necessary paperwork.
- Provide staff management to include hiring development training performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Provide training for debriefing de-escalation and restraint safety CPR First Aid Food Handlers permits for all therapeutic and residential supervisory staff.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for clinical days and recreational activities.
- Provide transportation for patient as needed. May include driving of facility motor vehicle or coordinating transportation with appropriate staff member.
- Coordinate residential care with the academic and clinical team to ensure the residential program is supportive.
- Work as a BHA as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
