About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Software competencies Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate)
- 3-5 years within the same role and position in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant.
- Leadership and team management skills
- Previous HACCP training

About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for aJunior Sous Chefto join Colleague Dining Room inJumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Supervise kitchen section(s) to ensure tasks are completed according to standards including stock management portion control food quality and cleanliness.
- Implement measures to minimize waste and control operating costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Evaluate food products for consistency and quality maintaining high standards in food preparation.
- Stay informed about new kitchen techniques and culinary trends incorporating relevant innovations into operations.
- Monitor team members grooming hygiene and compliance with safety regulations and SOPs providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Conduct training sessions to develop team members knowledge and skills.
