Shape the Future of Environmental Health in the Kimberley!
The Coordinator Environmental Health Services plays a crucial role in driving strategic health outcomes across a geographically diverse region.
You will be responsible for planning coordinating and delivering impactful health programs while working closely with community partners and other service providers. Your goal will be to improve health outcomes particularly in Aboriginal communities by providing advice and assistance on environmental health matters ensuring compliance with legislation and meeting the obligations set by the WA Department of Health.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with Aboriginal communities and service agencies to address health and well-being issues developing and delivering health education programs overseeing housing-related health concerns and managing the Dog Health and Breeding Control Programs. You will conduct compliance inspections investigate health complaints and monitor food and water standards to ensure adherence to regulations. Additionally you will supervise operations contribute to budget planning source funding for programs and maintain accurate records. Fostering a sense of teamwork enhancing staff performance ensuring workplace safety and providing excellent customer service are also integral parts of this role. Please note that this position is based in Derbywith a base salary range from $92055 - $99415 plus generous allowances (Subject to negotiation up to $15470) superannuation (12% & up-to 7% Council matching) and 5 weeks annual leave.
