Plant Financial Controller

Position Overview:
A manufacturing company is seeking a numbers-driven hands-on Financial Controller to manage the technical financial operations of its plant. This is not a managerial role it is ideal for someone who loves digging into the numbers solving financial challenges and working closely with operations.
You will be the go-to person for plant-level financial accuracy working as part of a 6-person finance team. Experience in manufacturing is required and background in food or dairy will be considered a strong plus. The company offers a fast-paced growth-oriented environment and needs someone who can step in immediately and take ownership of the technical finance function.

Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost accounting
Enjoys individual contributor roles not looking for people management
Fast learner and willing to dive deep into technical workflows
Reliable steady and accurate with numbers
- Key Responsibilities:
Own the plants financial reporting and analysis
Support inventory accounting margin tracking and cost of goods sold
Maintain and improve standard cost systems
Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
Collaborate with operations and procurement to ensure accurate financial insights
Ensure timely month-end and year-end close for the plants books
Serve as a financial resource for plant and finance leadership
Qualifications and Must-Haves:
experience in finance or accounting roles
Direct experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity
Deep understanding of plant operations costing and inventory accounting
