Job Description
Why Patients Need You
This role is a hands-on statistical programmer supporting real world data deliverables including claims and electronic medical records within a Redshift and Snowflake environment.
What You Will Achieve
Ensures excellence in the programming of analysis ready datasets tables listings and figures and qc work for which they are responsible.
Ensures adherence to high quality programming standards in their daily work.
Requires a combination of technical expertise data analysis skills and strong communication abilities.
How You Will Achieve It
Accountable for their assigned work in the programming space supporting the programming leads for a particular study or asset deliverable.
Will primarily provide supportive production or QC work for other programmers deliverables.
Ensures appropriate source or QC documentation for deliverables.
Works with programming leads to ensure clear specifications for their programmed deliverables are in place.
Will be learning in the space of programming and data standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelors degree in Statistics Biological Sciences IT or related field with 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical biotech CRO or Regulatory Agency and experience in SAS programming with strong SQL experience handling large data.
Experience in working with large healthcare datasets such as CMS claims and/or EMR hospital datasets.
Strong preference for candidates skilled in open-source programming languages like R and Python.
Nice-to-Have
MBA/MS preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.

Secondment 12 months
If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for12 months or longer you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment. There will be no change to your current work location.
Position is considered Flexible and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day(LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).
