The HVDC division of Hitachi Energy is a rapidly growing global business at the forefront of pioneeringgroundbreaking solutions for the challenges of tomorrows energy landscape. We are looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement professional to join our Global Quality andContinuous Improvement team and help support this journey. As leader of continuous improvement andoperational excellence programs you will support the HVDC global business by coaching and leadingquality and performance improvement projects. Reporting to the Global Head of Continuous Improvementyou will contribute to the development and optimization of business processes product quality & reliabilityas well as internal capability development and deployment of improvement methodologies across theorganization.

The role is flexible in terms of your location. Frequent travel to one of the main office locations in Ludvika and/or Vsters is required.

How youll make an impact

• You drive business performance improvement projects and support operational excellenceactivities across the business leveraging Continuous Improvement methodologies includingQuality Tools Lean Sig Sigma and Agile.

• You coach on continuously improvement principles and practices role modelingtheseattributes and contributing to the cultural transformation across the organization through theexecution of projects.

• You act as a CI Subject Matter Expert providing help and guidance on methods tools andtemplates to drive improvement projects in the areas of defect reduction productivity and Operational Excellence.

• You partner with management and functional experts to understand and support delivery oftheir organizations vision objectives and challenges.

• You drive the sharing of best practices new processes tools and improvements achievedthrough application of CI methodologies.

• You live core values of safety and integrity taking responsibility for your own actions whilecaring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (L6S) certification with experience in coaching and leading highvalue and complex CI projects.

• Several years of experience in continuous improvement and/or Quality engineeringpreferably in the energy or engineering sector.

• Proven experience in leading and developing global programs.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing change in a dynamic international andfast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills

• A university degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.

• Experience in Agile project management Automation and Digitization and Business processmanagement an advantage.

• Fluency in English is required both written and spoken.
