Job Description

Home Care Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Home Care Specialist to join our team. Principle Health Systems provides mobile diagnostic services tailored to the long-term care population including skilled nursing facilities assisted living facilities and home health. This role focuses on selling laboratory services to Home Care Accounts by identifying and engaging potential customers. The ideal candidate is an organized and professional individual who thrives on achieving and exceeding goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales and Client Engagement
    • Travel daily within the assigned territory to meet with medical professionals in Home Care.
    • Prospect new clients through cold calling (25 calls/week) in-person visits and hosting or attending networking events.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and foster growth.
    • Educate and train clients on software protocols and services offered.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
    • Prepare and implement monthly sales plans to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Accurately forecast quotas identify accounts at risk and create action plans to ensure retention.
    • Conduct research on customer challenges and collaborate with internal teams to provide effective solutions.
  • Knowledge and Expertise
    • Acquire maintain and expand knowledge of the products and services offered.
    • Possess a strong understanding of the targeted market and industry trends.
    • Ensure a high level of expertise to effectively communicate the value of services to clients.
  • Administrative and Cross-Training
    • Obtain medical records from accounts as needed.
  • Participate in cross-training for other long-term care service areas including Skilled Nursing Facilities LTAC and Clinics.
  • Document all activities and maintain organized records for tracking and reporting purposes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree preferably in a science-related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience preferably in Home Care.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends for trade shows or client events.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking multitasking and time management skills.
  • Team-oriented reliable self-motivated and open to adopting new sales approaches.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit stand and travel extensively including driving for long periods.
  • Capacity to manage stress and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
