Reporting to the Vice President of Energy Solutions or designee the Senior Manager maintains responsibility for the delivery of one or more projects and/or programs for Energy Solutions with the goal of creating healthier and safer more durable and energy-efficient homes. Responsible for the associated program or project operational human resource and financial objectives and outcomes. This position requires initiative and prioritization skills along with the ability to work with multiple competing demands in a fast-paced changing environment. Working hours may vary but customary hours are Monday Friday from 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with occasional evening/weekend hours and overnight travel required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the daily weatherization projects performed by the weatherization crews.
Achieve operational objectives including the delivery of work efficiently and effectively evaluation of production audit of work and reporting as required.
Design plan implement and deliver a program or project in a leadership include the development and/or management of vendor relationships.
Accomplish human resource objectives including review of job expectations scheduling coaching and counseling and the delivery of technical customer service and quality standards.
Evaluate opportunities for operational improvement and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
Demonstrate financial objectives with the completion of work on time and on budget.
Performance of any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintain a valid drivers license and driving record consistent with current CHP insurability guidelines.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Budget development and evaluation.
Supervise and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (employees vendors funders etc.).
Recognize problems without clear solutions evaluate alternatives and build and implement best practices.
Ability to communicate effectively foster trusting relationships with employees peers and clients.
Knowledge of Weatherization Assistance Program Standard Work Specifications and building science acumen.
Intermediate mathematics skills.
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree is preferred.
Minimum four years experience in weatherization assistance or related energy conservation/efficiency experience required.
Must have certifications and training in the functional areas they oversee or obtain those within 12 months of hire.
