WHO YOULL WORK WITH
The Senior Principal DEI Planning Strategy and Insights will be a critical strategic partner and operational leader responsible for maximizing the effectiveness and impact of the DEI team partnering closely with peers in DEI People Analytics HR Leaders and Communications teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The candidate needs to have strong program and project management process and organizational skills including managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities to achieve strategic objectives.
A minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience.
A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training.
Previous Chief of Staff or similar role experience preferred.
Have utmost integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Have a deep understanding of DEI practices and principals combined with strong business acumen.
Strong attention to detail and analyse data draw insights and present effectively.
Experience working with and engaging senior executives (including C-Suite).
Experience with storytelling for diverse stakeholders through visual (PowerPoint presentations) and data driven (Excel) tools.
Ability to think critically anticipate needs identify challenges and develop pragmatic solutions.
Highly organized detail-oriented and proficient in managing multiple priorities and projects.
Ability to facilitate connections and build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
WHAT YOULL WORK ON
The Senior Principal DEI Planning Strategy and Insights is responsible for supporting the Chief Diversity Officer and the DEI Leadership team at Nike in creating a cohesive narrative outlining the impact of the DEI team connecting the dots between the bodies of work being done by different DEI team members and translating that through impactful data driven storytelling.
Support the Diversity Leadership team in creating a cohesive narrative outlining the impact of the DEI teams work through a data driven approach and with powerful storytelling through visual presentations.
Prepare and synthesize information from diverse stakeholders within and beyond the DEI team for executive-level presentations board reports and external engagements.
Support with the strategy and operations of monthly and quarterly dashboards business review decks scorecard creation and review etc.
Ensure seamless coordination across DEI initiatives optimize workflows and contribute directly to the advancement of the Nikes DEI strategy.
Prepare the DEI leadership team for key meetings engagements and public appearances including briefing materials and talking points.
Own the annual calendar of executive and business presentations and proactively gather relevant information for those presentations.
Proactively identify relevant reports and insights for different members of the DEI leadership team that can be published on a regular cadence (in partnership with DEI Analytics team members).
Manage the DEI teams priorities and workflow ensuring effective time management and focus on critical initiatives.
Support the DEI leadership team in managing the DEI departments budget tracking expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.
As needed oversee the planning execution and tracking of key DEI projects and initiatives ensuring deadlines are met and outcomes are achieved and potentially lead few DEI projects.
Facilitate effective communication flow within the DEI team rallying the team towards a common set of priorities.
