Employment Law Fee Earner York

Are you an experienced Employment Law specialist looking for a new challenge in a supportive and down-to-earth team Were working with a well-established regional firm that is looking to recruit a skilled Employment Fee Earner to join their busy Commercial team at their Clifton Moor office in York.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own high-quality caseload covering the full spectrum of employment law matters with the autonomy to develop client relationships and make a real impact in a growing team.

About the Role

Youll work on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters including:

  • Contracts of employment and service agreements

  • Discrimination and whistleblowing claims

  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • Settlement agreements and negotiations

  • TUPE transfers and restructuring

  • Unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claims

  • Employment Tribunal preparation and advocacy

  • Redundancy advice and workforce reorganisation

The team is small collaborative and highly regarded and youll be given the support and flexibility to thrive.

What Were Looking For

  • A strong background in Employment Law typically 5 years experience as a Solicitor or Legal Executive

  • Confidence handling a diverse caseload and advising both employers and employees

  • A commercial mindset and practical solutions-focused approach

  • Excellent communication and client care skills

  • Some experience in marketing or business development would be a bonus

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team
