Grade VII Business Manager in the Quality Risk and Patient Safety Department.
Grd VII
Purpose of the Post
The Quality Risk and Patient Safety Business Manager will:
- Support the Director of Quality Risk and Patient Safety (QPRS) in the delivery of the quality risk and patient safety services.
- Co-ordinate the business function within the Quality Risk and Patient Safety department.
- Manage and coordinate the review and continual appraisal of the corporate risk register for the acute and older persons services.
- Oversee that the performance management function within the department is being achieved.
- Oversee the coronial and legal responsibilities with the department and ensure the sharing of relevant information with the risk advisors.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and to address any gaps/potential gaps in service provision identified by regulators/legislative bodies
- Be involved in operational planning and control systems for the effective measurement and monitoring arrangements for the quality and safety of services.
- The post will encompass strategic operational & financial management.
