Job Description

Maxwell Consultancy are working with an established growing engineering business who require a CMM Inspector. This is a full time permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Glasgow. The business have been growing rapidly in recent times with an extremely healthy order book.

Whats required

  • Responsible for inspecting jobs at various stages of the machining inspection process (1st off final inspection and FAIR inspection)
  • Measurement of components through selection of appropriate probes and attachments for the CMM
  • Provide machine operators timely feedback on product non-conformities
  • Document fixturing requirements for each product
  • Review and monitor CMM programs with a view to reducing cycle times
  • Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings
  • Knowledge of PCDMIS software (Calypso software for Zeiss)
  • CMM calibration

  • Basic Hourly rate of 22 per hour and 27.50 per hour working shifts
