Contribute your ideas and continue to write our success story together with us. We are looking for a German qualified Lawyer / Associate (m/f/d) in the field of Banking & Restructuring in Munich.
Your tasks
- You will advise lenders and borrowers on all aspects of financing under German law in particular in the areas of commercial real estate project and acquisition financing (bilateral and syndicated); this includes in particular the drafting negotiation and review of loan agreements intercreditor agreements and security documentation in German and English
- A large part of our work is cross-border so you will not only work with colleagues in our offices in Germany but also with colleagues in Pinsent Masons international offices (especially in the UK and Europe)
- You will be driving deals forward working with all relevant parties to ensure a smooth and efficient closing of transactions
- You will advise the team and clients on a wide range of other legal issues related to banking law including factoring the sale of loans/security and the preparation of legal opinions
- You will help to develop the strategic expansion of the German finance practice and be instrumental in developing a strong and collaborative team culture
Your profile
We are looking for an ambitious team player with
- good German law exam results who is commited to delivering high quality advice
- relevant professional experience of 2-5 years
- fluency in written and spoken English
- an organized methodical and goal-oriented way of working
- a professional approachable and reliable manner
- a hands-on mentality who displays initiative and who takes their career (but not themselves) seriously
