Middleware Administrator

Amyx is seeking to hire a Middleware Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on-site in Philadelphia PA.

• The Middleware Administrator will project long-range requirements for database administrators and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
• They will install design create and maintains Middleware solutions in a client/server environment.
• They will conduct quality control and auditing of Middleware installations in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
• They will advise users on access to Middleware applications deploys user applications in the Middleware installation and work with Application developers to ensure connectivity to databases.
• They will apply knowledge and experience with database technologies development methodologies and front-end programming languages (e.g. SQL).
• They will performs database programming and supports systems design including maintenance of database dictionaries adherence to standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Required:

Five (5) years progressive experience administering Middleware solutions (e.g. Oracle Fusion Middleware).
At least three years hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment testing tuning and security.
Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
Has experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering operating maintaining and securing a large-scale application.
Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission.
